Glint is a London-based fintech startup that enables users to store, spend and save their wealth in gold. By using the Glint iOS app and the Glint Mastercard®,
Giving customers more control over their money and enabling them manage it in ways that genuinely work, the Glint account, smartphone app and Mastercard® allow anyone to store, exchange, send, receive and spend gold, as well as local and foreign fiat currencies.
Glint users can make everyday payments in gold using their Glint debit card which is accepted by tens of millions of merchants and over 2 million ATMs, in more than 210 countries and territories.
Earlier this year, Glint was set to launch their new peer-to-peer payment service which allows users to send amounts of gold directly to each other, all within the Glint app. The new P2P technology enables gold to be used as money in electronic payments beyond the existing fiat money system.

CommsPeople worked closely with Glint to identify a clear PR brief and matched this with 2 independents PR consultants with relevant experience across both the financial and consumer media. Following the Glint interview process, the selected freelance PR worked closely with the team to develop a strong media strategy and continues to provide ongoing support.
